Hearts' Journey | |

Making the transition into religious life can be scary, especially for commitment-shy individuals. The six-bedroom house will accommodate several young women at a time, offering them ready opportunities for a strong community life, exposure to Precious Blood Spirituality, prayer and peer support. "Hearts' Journey is not officially a formation program," Sr. Jan explained, "but it is an opportunity for women to come and share in our spirituality and mission as a means of discernment. The idea is to provide a place for women to explore their spiritual longings while learning more about the Adorers." Hearts' Journey will be open for flexible periods of time, depending on each woman's situation. Interested candidates should be single Catholic women in their 20s to late 40s. "They might be women who feel a nudge to consider religious life, but are not ready to commit themselves to a formal formation process," Sr. Jan explained |

| "We plan to focus on fostering spiritual growth for young women through activities like weekend retreats, days of reflection, faith-sharing experiences, and communal prayer. Opportunities for spiritual direction will be provided for those who are interested." | |

Hearts' Journey has four major goals:
• To provide nurturing relationships through a sister mentor, neighborhood experiences and visiting Adorers.
S. Jan notes that research indicates that discerning young adults rely heavily on peer support and look for guidance and opportunities to learn through personal experience. Hearts' Journey should provide all of those tools and more |
