“Be Still and Know That I am God.” Ps 46:11

Quiet yourself and be open
To experience God’s Presence within you!
In this stillness, you can hear
God’s lovely melody of life –
His message that awakens
Hope within your being.

Forget the world and its dross.
Let your senses rest in the awareness
Of your own spiritual nature.
Then, reveling in this quietude,
Touch the Presence of God within you,
And experience inner peace and strength. 

Allow God’s melody of life to play
Through you to all life,
Enhanced by the Beauty, the Magnificence,
And the Power of the Creator God – the Great “I AM.”

1.       Do I know how to be still?  How often do I practice stillness?
2.       When and how has stillness -
                -awakened hope in my being? 
                -brought me to an experience of inner peace and strength?
3.        God, Creator, wishes to play the melody of life through me, to all of life.  Am I a good and willing instrument in God’s hands?
