She will be with us as virgin mother, friend and intercessor as we follow Christ in his paschal mystery. October 2003 - Woman of the New Covenant In the 1970s, the Adorers of the Blood of Christ developed a new title for Mary: Mary, Woman of the New Covenant. This has been an important development in how we understand Mary in relation to the spirituality of the Blood of Christ. How do we manage to see the world from God's perspective and respond to that world from the heart of God? And, through these sources we learn that the life story of Mary is very much like our life story.
