St. Joseph Convent/Columbia Center - Columbia, Pennsylvania
St. Joseph Convent/Columbia Center is located 35 miles southeast of Harrisburg in picturesque Lancaster County and a short distance outside Columbia. The sisters arrived at this site in the late 1920s and soon began a ministry to the aged and infirmed. Currently, St. Joseph Convent is home to approximately twenty sisters. Two smaller convents are also on the property—Nazareth House and De Mattias Residence. Sisters needing skilled care and assisted living live in the adjacent St. Anne Retirement Community, a ministry sponsored by the Adorers. St. Anne Retirement Community offers a continuum of care and services to senior citizens and has received numerous awards for excellence.
