New Buildings for ASC Korean Ministry
The ASCs in Korea are building two new buildings in a rural area on the edge of Masan: a Central House and the World of Light House.
The Central House will be a stable "home base" for the community. It is also build to accommodate persons coming for day programs as well as extended retreats. For many years the Sisters have assisted small groups with prayer and reflection, so this is a natural extension of their ministry.
An interesting fact about the chapel is their planning for the future. Because of the shortage of land in Korea, cremations are becoming more frequent. Behind the altar, in what we would consider the sacristy area, are niches in the wall where the Sisters' ashes will be kept.
